A Creative Kickstart to 2023

January is normally a bit of a dull grey month in the Northern Hemisphere but it has been a colourful and creative one for those who jumped into this year with one of the course bundles or Imaginarium.

Imaginarium, a three week long course, finished today. With twelve months access there is still time to join and do it in your own time. Registration will close on 31 January so jump in here if you're interested.

Course Bundles 

Towards the end of 2022 I launched a new five-day mini-course called Creative Circle. It was offered free in December and can still be accessed at no charge when you buy one of my Bundles consisting of two mini-courses + Creative Circle at the bargain price of £45.

These courses are the perfect size to explore watercolour in combination with acrylic ink. Fun themes include Butterflies, Fish and Cats. Creative Circle has a festive theme, but can be adapted as a meditative, colour-focussed course.

Continuing Inspiration for FREE

In January 2022 I started a year long creative challenge consisting of a weekly colour prompt where I shared a selection of colours found in a painting, illustration, artwork or something colourful that caught my eye.

It was so popular, with thousands of you joining in, that I'm continuing Coloricombo for the whole of 2023.

Prompts are shared in an email every Monday morning with a backstory about the artwork or artist and links to more information for those who would like to delve deeper. 

This little weekly prompt has had a ripple effect. I love seeing how artists and creatives have been using a limited colour palette to create all kinds of artworks and crafts, including glass, ceramics and textiles. It really is wonderful to see what people do with the prompts.
